Stratton Mountain is reporting 5 FEET of snow has fallen in the last month! and you can tell by watching houses hid behind mounds of snow. The snow banks on my driveway are 3' high!! This will be a great late season of wonderful Spring skiing. When people are finished skiing they have been looking at lots of real estate. Just recently, offers have started to fly around like the snow. Many Buyers believe that this is a Buyer's market, which is reflected in many sellers not accepting low offers. On the other hand, prices are at a low and now is a good time to get a great vacation home. On NPR this morning, I heard a story about how the market is really turning in many areas from a Buyer's market to a Seller's market. Properties that are properly priced are getting showings and we look forward to offers, Several of our new listings that are buried in snow are conveniently located mid-way between Stratton & Bromley mountains.
