APRIL update of Stratton Pending and Closed Sales This feels like one of the quietest springs we have had at Stratton . Perhaps it was the long cold winter and then the cold Spring we have had. I looked at last year's sales and pendings in homes and condos and there were 4 more sales in 2013 and 10 more pendings in 2013. The trend is still primarily in the under $400,000 range but we are seeing some activity in the higher ranges. The positive side is that we are not seeing a lot of new properties coming on the market.
Landlords all seem to be raising their rental prices and we are seeing more people booking early for next winter season. And there have been more land sales - although mostly pretty low- still a positive indicator of interest in the area.
We are looking forward to memorial day when restaurants reopen , and things start to happen here at Stratton.
